Scotts Primary School Framework for Online Safety Teaching 2023-2024
At Scotts Primary School, we want to educate and empower children to have positive online experiences. Online Safety is taught to all pupils focusing on how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. Our work in this area can only be effective if we work with parents to ensure the message is consistent. It is important that parents talk to their children about how they can stay safe and behave appropriately online.
We are committed to continued review and refinement of our online safety provision through use of the '360 Safe' Online Safety audit tool. Click to view our certificates of commitment and progress.

Online Safety Conversations with Children
To help parents have important online safety conversations with their children at a younger age, Vodafone UK and Andersen Press have teamed up with award-winning author Jeanne Willis and illustrator Tony Ross to produce co-branded digital editions of some well-known storybooks for the digital age. These books put a modern twist on classic stories and offer a fun and accessible way for parents to discuss responsible technology and social media use with their younger children.
